Dual Screen Offerings for the T-Roc

Apparently, according to Carwow.co.uk , The T-Roc will provide two screens.

The infotainment system will be a 9.2inch screen that will be mounted in the center console area.

The gauge cluster area should be a 12.3inch active info display that is customizable that will replace any gauges.

The interior of the T-Roc is expected to be much more visually appealing than the "sober" interior of the Golf

So we can expect it to look like the golf's interior. It's going to be a high tech piece of machinery on four wheels because of the 12.3 inch active info display. Those are usually reserved for premium vehicles and not often found in something like the T-Roc.

It should look something like the Golf, buit maybe with more color and sharper dash lines?

Pretty much with probably more premium materials or contrast stitching and what not? Those little things that really change the perspective of an interior.

Well if there's going to be something pushing car makers like VW to offer a bigger screen it will be Tesla. Model 3's have a massive screen. Even in the smartphone world screens are getting bigger, its what people want these days. Hopefully VW delivers

Right now their still doing a decent job. Maintaining around a 10" screen should be good enough and the Model 3 hasn't even hit the streets yet so that's okay. Later on it would be nice to see even a set of dual 10" screens but I'm it'll be a while for that.

I guess if there's anything more we need some of what would be done on that screen we can run on our phones and/or tablets. Most of this stuff will be integrated all together one day, doing this we might be ahead of the curve.

I'm still surprised we don't have infotainment systems where we can just mirror our phones on and run like that. Life would be drastically easier holy cow.
